British Gas Outlet installation and precautions guide

Installation

3

1.Before use, confirm that the terminal socket and plug are clean and uncontaminated, and confirm that the plug matches the socket.

2. When the terminal is occasionally exposed to external pollution or other failures, the terminal is allowed to be maintained and repaired.

3. The installation dimensions are shown in Figure 1. The gland position should be higher than the panel by more than 5mm to ensure that the gland can be pressed down normally and the plug can be pulled out.

4. When installing the terminal, first press down the valve body to remove the gland according to Figure 1. Fix and adjust the terminal, then cover the panel, and then reinstall the gland.

5. Insertion operation: align the plug with the terminal jack, align the positioning plate with the positioning position on the valve body, and insert it quickly. After hearing a crisp click, the plugging is completed and the gas can be used.

6. Pull-out operation: In order to prevent the plug from flying out due to the inflating force during the pulling-out process, one hand must hold the W plug or the device connected to the plug during the pulling-out process; press the gland in place with the other hand and pull out the plug after releasing the pressure. Then let go of the gland.

Note: Do not directly press the gland without protective action after use to prevent the remaining air pressure from rushing out of the connector and causing unnecessary injury.

7. Before connecting the terminal to the air supply system, use dry, oil-free compressed air to purge the piping system.

Precautions

1. The terminal should be absolutely oil-free.

2. There should be no open flame in the oxygen terminal use environment.

3. Horizontal installation is recommended for terminal installation.

4. The pipeline should be purged before terminal installation, and debris should be prevented from entering the pipeline system during installation.

5. Fix the terminal on the medical equipment belt (provided by the user), remove the protective sleeve at the end of the air inlet pipe, and weld the air inlet pipe to the air supply pipe of the system.

6. Attention should be paid to cooling the intake pipe during welding to avoid damage to the terminal due to high welding temperature. Because the copper material will be oxidized during welding and produce harmful substances, gas shielded welding should be used during welding.

7. After installation, use oil-free air or nitrogen for purging. When purging, a terminal plug or a soft rod can be used to open the one-way valve in the terminal to remove exhaust gas from the pipe.
